Our Process

Brand USA promotes and provides full and open competition in awarding contracts to support our operations and marketing efforts. Each year, we enter into a wide variety of contracts for services and goods. If you have the passion and talent to help us promote the United States as an exciting and diverse travel destination, we invite you to participate in this process.

Brand USA uses three primary methods to seek, source, and select supplier partners: Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotes (RFQs). Current RFPs and RFIs are listed below.

Sponsorship Consulting & Asset Valuation RFP

The purpose of this RFP is to identify a consulting partner with deep expertise in sponsorship strategy development and asset valuation. The selected partner will: 

  • Create a sophisticated sponsorship framework that attracts and secures corporate sponsors across airlines, hotels, technology platforms, financial services, outdoor brands, and lifestyle companies.
  • Provide independent, market-based valuations of Brand USA's assets using methodologies that resonate with corporate marketing teams
    • Tangible value (media, digital, content integration, events, intellectual property)
    • Intangible value (brand equity, sponsor fit, category exclusivity, and audience alignment)
    • Comparative benchmarks against industry peers
  • Advise on packaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategies that demonstrate clear value
  • Recommend processes, tools, and structures to maximize sponsorship value
The purpose of this RFP is to identify the appropriate public relations and communications firm (Representative Firm) to represent Brand USA in Australia and New Zealand. The selected Representation Firm will be considered Brand USA’s in-market expert, with the purpose of helping to build and maintain top-of-mind awareness of the USA as a premier travel destination in order to increase international visitation, spend, and market share for the U.S. As an extension of the Brand USA team in market, the Representation Firm will ensure all in-market activity represents Brand USA in ways that support the organization’s strategies and mission, while protecting and preserving our integrity and brand.

Brand USA is seeking a diverse group of qualified freelance writers to support various global communications needs, including crafting press releases, articles, and other key content to promote the United States as a premier travel destination on an ongoing, as needed basis. The selected writers will help communicate Brand USA's mission, milestones, and initiatives across diverse markets and audiences.
